Climate Change
Is one of the biggest problems facing the world.
Isn’t being addressed quickly enough.
Is a threat to our future.
I support the Prime Minister’s views on climate change and think she will lead the change that needs to take place.
This is the Franz Joseph Glacier which is about 2 hours drive away and it is melting away with Climate Change.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of the saddest things about climate change that I can see on the West Coast. The decline of both of the glaciers is huge. The photos that you have shared make me quite sad and it is a huge wake up call to those who still think that climate change is not a problem.
I was at the glacier just a few weeks ago, as my daughter works for Doc in Franz Josef. We walked to the glacier and I was so amazed at the difference since I was there the last time. The amount of ice that is break off all the time and just floating down the river is amazing.
What is the difference in years between your two photos?
Did you see what the bush fires in Australia had done to the glacier in Franz?
It had coloured the ice a nice shade of orange and brown. Very sad!
